The 2019 20’ Kencraft Bayrider Skiff The 2019 20′ Bayrider Skiff was added as a dependable back up boat and a boat that can fish the shallow backwaters and the ocean nearshore. It also makes a great addition to complete our fleet with the amazing line of Kencraft Bayrider Bay Boats and Kencraft Bayrider Skiffs. Kencraft Bayrider Skiffs are unsinkable boats with high gunnels, lots of room, shallow draft, and very safe feel. It is equipped with a Minn Kota Terrova 80lb thrust trolling motor, Power Pole 10′ Shallowwater Anchor System, Fishfinder/GPS, and two live wells. This boat floats amazingly shallow and works well on the flats and the shallow water creeks of the Lower Cape Fear Backwaters. We can also take this boat in the ocean on calm days.
2018 23’ Kencraft Bayrider 239 Bay. The 2018 239 Bay from Kencraft is truly one of a kind amongst its competition. With a huge amount of room and an open floor plan, it provides a comfortable experience in calm and rough waters. From catching redfish, speckled trout, flounder, sheepshead, and black drum in the backwaters to chasing cobia, bull redfish, and albacore in the ocean. This boat can truly do it all. It is powered by a 2018 200 hp Yamaha 4-stroke. The 239 is equipped with live wells, Minnkota Terrova Trolling Motor, 10′ Power Pole Shallow Water Anchoring System, and top of the line fishfinder/gps system. It is a fisherman’s boat with amenities that make it family friendly. Some of the species we may target Inshore are: redfish, flounder, speckled trout, black drum, and sheep head. Nearshore species may include large bull redfish, cobia, Spanish mackerel, albacore, bluefish, and sharks.
The 2015 22’ Kencraft Bay Rider is a boat used to fish the shallow backwaters, creeks and flats as well as the artificial reefs and live rock bottoms along the Cape Fear coast. This is a top of the line skiff, that rides better than any skiff on the market, with the size to handle the ocean. It has hard T-top to get a break from the sun and floats in about 6-8″ of water. It is powered by a quiet and dependable 2015 Yamaha 150 fourstroke outboard. It is equipped with a 80lb Minn Kota trolling motor, 10′ Power Pole Blade Shallow Water Anchor System, Garmin GPS/Fishfinder, and two livewells. This boat floats extremely shallow and is used to sightfish to tailing Redfish on the flats,creeks and backwaters. We can also fish for flounder, speckled trout, black drum, sheephead and all of the other species that roam these shallow backwaters and the ocean nearshore.
